Kuching meaning "cat" in the Malay language is situated on both banks of the Sarawak River. It is also the Capital of Sarawak. This tour takes you across the Satok Bridge to cruise pass the State Mosque and a visit to the Cat Museum (closed on Mondays), view the Astana, the former residence of the White Rajahs, now the Governor's residence, the Court House, the Post Office, the Pavilion, the Square Tower, the Sarawak Museum and the Central Market. A stopover at the picturesque and colourful "Tua Pek Kong" Chinese Temple built in 1876.

This is a 2 ½ Hours starting from the hotel pickup and proceed to the Waterfront where you will board a small Riverboat (Tambang) for a ride across the river to visit the Fort Margherita (now a Police Museum). You will also have a close exterior view of the Astana, the new Court House, the Parliament and our State Library passing them on the way to the Cat Museum, a museum with its vast and unique collection artifacts on Cats. A stopover will be make for a visit to an orchid garden.
